New materials (i.e., nickel titanium wires) and devices (i.e., the Herbst appliance and TADs) have revolutionized how orthodontists treat patients and achieve outstanding results, often in less time than ever before. Meanwhile, digital technology (i.e., x-rays and models) has enhanced the doctor’s ability to diagnose, plan treatment and communicate with all members of the dental team.
